Hi, there! I’m Cherie, a marketing and advertising writer and editor aged and weathered through multiple agency environments. I started my career more than 15 years ago and have since grown into a hybrid powerhouse who has managed teams of writers and editors, countless client accounts, English and Spanish content, and successful new business pitches—all while following and defying the rules.

Yes, written content is an objective field. Yes, writers and editors must adhere to set style and grammatical standards. But I believe we have a larger obligation as creatives to disrupt the norm in pursuit of memorable, innovative content that meets people anywhere and everywhere they are. I follow the rules. I’ve had the pleasure of writing and editing print, digital, and social content for brand partners in automotive; health, beauty, and grooming; household care; baby care; food, beverage, wine, and spirits; retail coffee and snack stores; restaurants; confectionery; public health and social welfare; telecommunications; health care and health insurance; the performing arts; and nonprofit organizations.

Outside of work, you’ll find me enjoying the next book on my TBR, writing my own fantasy novel, whipping up delectable creations in the kitchen, and spending as much time as possible hiking, gardening, and lounging by the water.
